YouTube announced a few new updates to the video-sharing platform’s viewing experience on TV, and some of them were particularly noteworthy.
On Tuesday, YouTube announced an update to via a tweetIt added that viewers can now watch YouTube videos with 5.1 surround sound on “any TV that supports it”.

The post offered more details about the update made to the video viewing experience on the TV, including the expansion of YouTube’s support for 5.1 surround sound.
